This past weekend was our first “normal” weekend on campus. Classes are in full swing now and our homework is also piling up. However, we all still managed to have loads during the weekend together!
The recent storms created a beautiful cloud formation and color in the sky Friday during sunset!
At night we had a Coco movie night with our floor, hosted by our RA! We made friendship bracelets and enjoyed popcorn and (more) time together!
Our Saturday was spent exploring Bay Beach in Green Bay! Being from around here, I go there often but it was fun with a group from out of town. It was a well deserved day of relaxation and being a kid again after a stressful week of class and homework.
When we got back, one of our floor mates, Mariah, made tacos for us and we had our “family” dinner. The rest of the night was spent relaxing watching TV and completing (many) hours of homework.
Sunday morning was spent attending 10 am mass only to realize I was sick. The afternoon was spent trying to be productive but was instead spent sleeping because I had such a bad headache and was so tired and weak. I am so glad the sickness happened over the weekend and not during the week. However, I am still recovering almost a full week later.
Sunday evening was spent cheering on the Packers in the first regular season game of the year and also Alaina on the cheer team! I only made it to halftime (because of sickness and the score) but it was a fun night anyway!
Every day is a new adventure and I love every second of it (except maybe the homework).
